Van 9 tot 20 april wordt het Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival gehouden in - hoe kan het ook anders - Amsterdam (Tuschinski theater, op loopafstand van het Rembrandtplein). Het AFFF is een filmfestival dat zich richt op de genres fantasy, scifi en horror.Onder andere de film van George A. Romero Diary of the Dead zal worden vertoond.
Maar ook: The Cottage, Hatchet, Twilight Phantom, Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer, Return in Red, Mother of Tears: The Third Mother, All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, Dorm, The Orphanage, The Rage (heeft niets te maken met King) The Substitute, Black House (ook niets te maken met King), Inside, Twilight Phantom, Epitaph, Bug, Fido en The Ruins.
